Margot coffee table
The geometry of the Margot tables' rectangular base and circular table top is a truthful form conceived to highlight the beauty of its pure wood construction. The coffee table sits long and low with generous proportions, a two-tier table top and ample storage underneath.
Produced in Europe from solid FSC timber (Pine) the table bases have been stained black in small batches. Each table top is then individually customised by the designers' own hands in their studio in Portugal.
This first batch of table tops have been blackened with fire and sealed with a natural ‘Tung’ oil. The finished table top is dark and moody though still allows light to circulate through its open design. Perfect for any indoor living space that needs a dark accent piece.
The blackening process means that each piece is unique, one of a kind and stamped with the designer brand for proof of authenticity. The natural ripples and irregularities of the burnt timber are reflected in the circular table top.
